The UK Business Retreat for Women in the Performing Arts

PerformerPreneur Retreats: Where Creativity Meets Strategy

Running a business as a performer or creative entrepreneur can feel isolating. You’re building something real – but often alone, without the space to think clearly or the community that truly gets your world.

That’s why I created the PerformerPreneur business retreat: a dedicated day and night where UK performers and creatives can step back, reconnect, and come home with a step-by-step plan they’re actually excited to implement.

Think of it as business coaching designed specifically for the performing arts world – without the corporate boardroom energy.

Yes! If you’re in the early stages or planning phase, this retreat will help you build a strong foundation with intention. You’ll be surrounded by performers and creatives at different stages, and there’s real power in gaining clarity before you launch.

A completed vision map for 2026, a refined offer, a clear marketing message, a 90-day action plan, a letter to your future self — and the energy and momentum to actually implement it. Plus a goody bag and a very good time.

Steps to Success is designed for performers and creatives who are building a business and are ready to invest in themselves. Whether you’re a solopreneur, freelancer, actor, dancer, musician or creative entrepreneur — if you know you’re meant for more, this is for you. Steps to Success is open to performers and creatives across the performing arts — whether you work in theatre, dance, music, or any corner of the entertainment industry.

The PerformerPreneur community is warm, supportive and creative — no competition, just collaboration and genuine connection. Nicole has built a community where big dreams are celebrated, not judged.

Absolutely — and most people do! The retreat is designed to create connection from the moment you arrive. You’ll leave with friendships that outlast the weekend.

Pay in full at £345 (saving £30), or split across two monthly payments of £187.50. Your first payment secures your place and is non-refundable as it covers the hotel deposit. Full balance is due 4 weeks before the retreat.

Your first payment is non-refundable. If you need to cancel after making further payments, please get in touch as soon as possible and Nicole will do her best to help.

It may well be! Many self-employed professionals and business owners can claim business development events as an allowable expense. Check with your accountant or financial advisor for guidance based on your individual circumstances.

Arrive at Old Thorns from 10am on Friday 16th October — sessions begin at 10.30am so please don’t be late! Saturday is a free morning after the closing session and breakfast. The spa and health club are yours to enjoy, and you can leave whenever you’re ready.

Old Thorns Hotel & Resort is in Liphook, Hampshire — easily accessible by car (just off the A3) and by train (Liphook station is nearby with links from London Waterloo). Full travel details are sent to all guests on booking.

Think of it as the best day of professional development you’ve ever had, wrapped in a celebration. You’ll do real work — but in a beautiful environment, with people who get it, hosted by someone who genuinely cares about your success. Come open, come ready, and come prepared to be surprised by what’s possible.

Previous PerformerPreneur Retreat Experiences

Our Oman Beach Retreat in early 2025 brought together a small group of ambitious women for a truly transformational experience. Here are the steps we took together.

PREVIOUS RETREAT INCLUDED:

  • Beach yoga and mindfulness meditation
  • Strategic planning workshops
  • Wellbeing and resilience exercises
  • Network mapping and communication style workshops
  • Safe space sessions for authentic sharing

Why Our retreats work

Every PerformerPreneur retreat is built around three things that performers, actors, dancers and musicians rarely find in the same place:

  • Strategic Focus — Dedicated time to work ON your business, not just in it
  • Supportive Community — Connect with like-minded creatives who understand your world
  • Expert Guidance — Targeted workshops and coaching sessions to address your specific challenges
